Schedule a Consultation

If you’re considering mediation, the initial step is to arrange a mediation consultation. This session provides us with the opportunity to meet you and assist in determining if mediation services are suitable for your needs.

What will be covered during a consultation?

  • Going over the mediation process: We’ll explain how mediation works and answer any questions you have.
  • Assess your situation: We’ll figure out where you stand with the issues you’re dealing with and suggest ways to move forward.
  • Discuss costs and options: We’ll talk about how much mediation might cost and what services are available to you.
  • Prepare and schedule: If you decide to proceed with mediation, we’ll help you get ready and set up the sessions.

Where is the consultation held?

As of now, these sessions happen online using Zoom or face-to-face if you prefer. To get ready, you’ll need a computer, iPad, or smartphone with a working microphone and camera, along with internet access. Find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted during the session.

How much do you charge for a consultation?

A consultation with Custer Mediation costs $175. You can pay safely online with a debit or credit card after picking a time from the calendar. Your consultation is only confirmed once we receive payment, and unfortunately, the fee cannot be refunded.

What do I need to do to schedule a consultation?

Take a look at our online calendar below and select an available time. Simple as that.

Who should be in attendance during the consultation?

We encourage both parties to attend if they can. However, if one party can’t make it, it’s okay for just one to attend.

Is there anything I should bring with me?

You don’t have to bring anything along, but you will receive materials during the consultation.
